I just posted that video on my favorite Buckeye (Ohio State) message board and forum. We talk about everything on there from sports to best pizza to movie reviews to the merits of legalized cannabis, and of course Covid vaccines/strategies, but mostly the Buckeyes.
Lots of people (5-6000) ranging from ditch diggers to doctors to lawyers to CEO's. Doing my part to spread the word, and I thought this was a nice concise "to the point" video with a positive outlook, that was also germain to a very busy thread discussing/debating/fighting about Covid.
Hopefully it gets a few thousand views, maybe get some other medical opinions/reactions, and maybe some additional conversation and notoriety, and maybe even some interest. Trying to do my part as well fellas ......
My lead in to posting the youtube video, hopefully this is an accurate and fair representation:
" Full disclosure, I am an investor since 2015. Apabetalone (Resverlogix) potentially inhibits ALL variants by dual mechanism. First it inhibits entry and reproduction as an ACE2 inhibitor, which is the method for attaching/entry for Covid into the lung cells. Secondly, it potentially shuts down the cytokine storm as an anti-inflammatory, which is important for reducing short and long term cascade effects of Covid on other organs. Currently in Phase 2, in Canada, with an upcoming Phase 3 study for diabetic cardiopathy, renal, cognitive, and PAH. Initial research has been impressive, and published in some prestigious journals. Repeating, the mechanisms of action would theoretically impact any existing and new variants.
Weird quirky under-capitalized company, but a lot of promise in many areas and especially Covid. I have to say "dyodd" when posting this because I am an investor, but I am posting it here because it is topical to this discussion and debate, as we are all trying to figure out how to manage life going forward in this cloud of Covid confusion and impact. Hopefully this drug will produce good results in 2022 and be a huge benefit to the world, and selfishly I am rooting for this outcome for several reasons (to be up front). Opinions? "
