fuzzy, thanks for your dogged persistence in trying to get information out of RVX. You never know what might happen if Dicky To at ORI Capital started to see how upset retail shareholders have become. I still believe that ORI Capital is invested in RVX for ROI but it is a question as to what their strategy is going to be. Don's incompetence must be becoming evident to ORI. My guess is that unless Don pulls a rabbit out of a hat, and he might, that ORI and Hepa will team up to take over the situation in some form or another. This could help or hurt retail shareholders. There are many options.
Based on the December update which indicated numerous activities on the science/clinical side yet nothing seems to be happening. We know nothing about the business side and this is typical mushroom management...a mystery :)
I feel some compassion for people like Sarah who must face the disgruntled shareholders. There are honest, hard working people in this company and they deserve respect.
To me RVX feels like a volcano ready to erupt. We know there is all kinds of positive pressure builting on the science side but the incompetence on the business and management sides are weighting down the mountain and stopping it from exploding to it's logical conclusion...which is an explosion of breakthrough science and medicine.
To those who have commented that Don is not doing this alone I agree. For example, who is the point person at RVX in charge of the Covid trial - Dr Sweeney? But Don is keeping 3 critical titles in his complete control -COB, President and CEO. He is "THE" guy in charge. He could very easily hire a CEO with biotech experience and credibility and a financial background to bring much needed money to the Covid trials and BoM2 trial to name just 2. He could do the same at ZCC. Why isn't he?
While Don could, and may well, pull a survival financing out of his hat I do not see a solid financial strategy emerging until RVX brings in people with the skills to build and finance a plan.
Regarding the Covid trial I would have thought that the CRO was operating under best practices. Therefore it would be straight forard that they would have a weekly, if not daily update system on progress of the trial - # of sites, clinicians and their backgrounds, # of patients contacted, refusal rates, reason for refusals, etc. Also applies to Brazil.
Final point. While Eversana seems like a very positive move they are dowstream. We need a successful trial first.
Thanks again fuzzy and I wish you/us good luck on your request.
Happy Saturday to all.
