So the artcle at link above says that depression and bipolar disorder appear to be associated with a higher proortion of pro-inflammatory gut bacteria. It obly notes the association, does not speculate on causality. Still had to wonder whether this is yet another conceivable indication, or whether Apabetalone's anti-inflammatory activity is directd more at vascular tissue only.
