It is interesting that each of the presentations seem to have a focus on the anti-inflammatory effects of apabetalone. This obviously is not a new revelation but it seems to be more of a focal point of the 6 positive impacts of apabetalone (increased ApoA-l i.e. functional HDL, delayed glucose absorbtion, reduced calcium deposition, reduced coagulation, reduced complement cascade, reduced inflammation).
I believe it was narmac that used to point this out frequently.
I still believe there is merit in the science.
It's really too bad about the management situation.
