I have tried to determine why there is such a difference between the trials listed on clinicaltrials.gov under Apabetalone and RVX000222. Below is what is listed on each as near as can tell.

Apabetalone

1) PAH

2) Renal

3) Fabry

4) Pharmacokinetics, Low HDL  2008-09

5) Dose Finding and Safety (ASSERT)

6) BOM

RVX000222

1) Fabry

2) Glucose Metabolism with pre-diabetes 2012-14

3) Renal

4) Multi-dose combo with statin in Dyslipidemia (terminated after about a month around time of release of ASSURE results)

5) ASSERT

6) BOM

7)Pharmacokinetics – Low HDL 2008-09

8) SUSTAIN

9) ASSURE

The only reason I can see for PAH not being included in the RVX000222 list is that the drug listed is Apabetalone while most are listed as RVX000222. This might show a bit of weakness in their cross-referencing. As for the ones listed as RVX000222 but not under Apabetalone, They all started before the name Apabetalone had been in use so maybe a cross reference never was placed after the name came into use. My take is that any new ones should show up under Apabetalone but it doesn’t hurt to check RVX000222 once in a while as there are glitches.
