I agree, more of the regular 2nd/3rd rate business dealings brought forth by RVX management. If he is really talking with BP all the time why doesn't Don get one of them to make some sort of equity investment in RVX? According to his RVX bio he is pretty much a business wizard (although it doesn't say exactly what he has ever accomplished).
I remember when Pfizer made a modest investment in Trillium at about a 10-12% premium to market. The market took notice and 2 weeks later the share price was considerably higher than what Pfizer paid. It took off big time from there. Mind you Trillium has an excellent CEO with an extensive, real biotech track record and real finance experience.
The market might take a little more notice of RVX and its BTD if a widely recognized BP made an equity investment.
