I imagine the non-profit is more likely to have been a charitable trust or a state fund. If they had set up a clinical trial involving a center in the USA, they could have applied for funding from the NIH. If it was true that RVX had secured the funding, why did Don not say where the money was coming from? It shouldn't be a secret if it'a done deal. It doesn't make sense to me.
