I'm sure RVX has the funds and personnel to get FDA approval for the trial. It's not such a big deal. They have done it before, don't forget, and the meat of the application (protocol, methods, etc) will probably have been drafted by the senior investigators given that RVX has no specialist experience in infectious disease.
