Given the state of RVX finances and the strength of the case, the US NIH might fund a Phase 2 trial in a US medical center through an RO1 grant, as long as RVX provided ABL free of charge. There have been many studies funded this way, and there must be many US academics who would jump at the chance of getting NIH funding for such a study. Don should be talking to them.
