Message: Re: For Scientists - Nature article/study on epigenetic changes after kidney injury

Bear - I have not yet read the article, but will do after this. It piqued my curiosity though in relation to something completely unrelated (or not) - just as there are stages of kidney disase during which different supports might be valuable or harmful - could that be the case also with different types and stages of dementia? It had left me quite puzzled and wondering whether it was just an artifact that there were notable effects on the severe dementia patients but none on the mild or moderate ones. But - if there are differences between the needs of vascular vs. other dementia (which would make sense) as well as differences (potentially) in the needs and therefore effects of drugs at different stages of dementia - that result might not look so iffy. Sorry if simple-minded, but whatdaya think? Possible?
