The study certainly speaks to the urgent need to address the horrible risk outcomes for those diagnosed with T2D, and who are at risk of HF.  It also makes me a little angry that HF wasn't included as part of the 3 point MACE, and I wonder about investigators/scientists being a little too dogmatic about their methods, rather than addressing the clear need save lives.  Stroke is absolutely horrible, but the study clearly points out how much worse HF is...unless I'm reading something wrong??  This drug (can) WILL save lives
