Although today's data presented at ERA-EDTA and today's news release contain nothing new (except for a statement of no change in eGFR over time), I just now appreciated why this is unfolding like it is.

Recall in Dr. Kausik Ray's AHA presentation back in November 2019 he did not discuss any of the CKD subgroup data other than slide 19 showing all of the pre-specified subgroups for 3-point MACE. Also recall that it was only in the Resverlogix Corporate presentation that followed later in November that the CKD subgroup MACE data was shown in detail. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall DM laughing off a desire of the clinical steering committee to hold off on the company presenting this detailed CKD MACE data at the November 2019 corporate update so that it could first be presented at a renal scientific conference. I think what we are seeing today is the formal scientific presentation of the CKD MACE data that was previously only shared in a corporate update.
