I think another poster raised this before...but I wonder if there's forced selling going on. Liquidating at any price...an estate sale, portfolio blow-up? There are trading algorithms that pick-up on this, and in the Darwinian world of finance, will attempt to maximize your pain by frontrunning your sell orders, making things worse. What a Wonderful World...
