THE GOOD NEWS

Hello Don,
As a long time stockholder, my question today is have you started any testing of your drugs which might help combat the COVID 19 virus?
Thank you,

ANSWER

Yes we have started some work but it will be weeks before we have any data back.  Several labs responded to our request for co-development help.
Best regards.

THE BAD NEWS

South Korea’s New Coronavirus Twist: Recovered Patients Test Positive Again
More than 160 South Koreans have tested positive a second time for the coronavirus, a development that suggests the disease may have a longer shelf life than expected.

Read in The Wall Street Journal:
https://apple.news/AWny81C_kRtyf4S9zjp3M0w

“The initial belief, according to South Korean doctors directly involved with a government review, is that the virus has “reactivated” in the patients, meaning the disease went dormant and came back. The research remains ongoing and inconclusive. The Seoul government’s report will take at least a month to complete, they say.

Comment,

Many different drugs are in tests.  RVX uses epigentics in binding with BRD's, BD2 BD4 (hope this is correct). RVX worked in releasing dormant (up to ten years) AIDS virus from CD4+ T Cell allowing other drugs to kill it.  It may be possible that Apabetalone will do the same.  Long shot, yes.  If the Korean findings are true, our way of life will be changing.  Will a vaccine work, maybe not on a dormant virus.
