I am aware of the forecasts that have been put out, in particular the report issued by the Imperial College of London's Covid-19 Response team.  Even with school closures and social distancing protocols they're predicting 1.1 million to 1.2 million dead in the United States....and double those numbers if nothing were to be done.

I don't think there's anything wrong with hoping and praying that those numbers aren't reached, and that Covid-19's death toll is more in line with the seasonal flu, or even less.
