I know Res. designed the trial using diabetics to try and leverage a smaller study into yielding more significant results. However, what was the reasoning behind including the apparent Achilles heal; stroke?  Was there a positive impact on stroke in previous studies, or was it just reasonable to assume given the similar issues ABL has an impact on?
