Absolutely.

The trial designs are totally limiting rather than liberating.

This is particularly relevant for a drug that hits multiple targets (pathways - down regulates bunch of markers & up regulates others) that would be difficult to know in advance what the expected outcome should be.

All said, therapeutic medicine has hit a wall & everyone is looking for a difference maker WITHOUT side effects!!!

i think we got one here & it’s potentials are gradually being revealed, including unexpected findings that would defy expectations :

Protective with low LDL is an example. And the latter could be due to the possibility that low LDL might not be totally beneficial to all biological system either! That story might be also commercially driven!!!
