I don't have a deep enough understanding of the science to interpert the BETonMACE results given thus far in any meaningful way, not even close. So with that being said I'll go with what Dr. Ray said at the end of his presentation....that further study is "probably warranted".
Not exactly a ringing endorsement is it? However I'm thinking that Ray's world famous expertise is confined to CVD....not Kidney and certainly not Cognitive Dimentia or Alzheimer's, although I'm sure he has a lot of knowledge about a number of diseases that intersect with Cardio.
Bottom line is that Don himself has acknowledged that Resverlogix doesn't have the "horsepower" to advance further. So to me the only thing that matters is can Resverlogix attract a partner or in lieu there of, a BP player to buy either 208 on its or or the whole kit and kaboodle.
I'm steeling myself for the presentation in a few hours...and not expecting to hear anything definitive on the partner/buyout front while MOCA score data is still embargoed.
