I don't think its neccesarily a conspiracy theory.  Where did the demand come from?  Perhaps some came from engaging LilaMax Media to promote the company in May:

This video was published to YouTube on May 5th, coincidentally very shortly after this promotion RVX started trading at multi-year highs, and then of course came the share offering.  Coincidence?  I don't think so.  I just wish I'd found out about it when it was happening, not a month or more later:
