Excellent point tada. I've really appreciated the posts since the TLs...remarkable points of view and analysis. icon, thanks for your thinking re atora vs rosu stats POV. I think I might be starting to understand.

Bottom line is we won't know anything until the AHA so just for fun I've set aside my rose coloured glasses to reflect this purely subjective POV and I hope I am wrong.

1. I posted after the AGM presentation that I thought Don seemed really pumped but others said he was more subdued than previous AGMs. I trust those particular others more than myself. They are closer to Don. If you view Don as the sugar daddy for the scientists then he has got to keep the $$$ flowing after a failed BoM. He is human. Surely he has his doubts as well but he keeps face. And yet I believe he will have enough good scientific findings from BoM to interest investors.
2. On the science side I heard Dr Wong is elated. He's a scientist and someone with high integrity and credentials in my (non scientific) eyes. Why wouldn't he be elated. Close but no cigar in science means more years of exciting science. Now of course I'm sure he would find his exciting science elsewhere (probably along with winning scientific awards) even with BoM success but apabetalone is his baby. He'll want to nurture this to maturity.
3. tada's post hints to me that Don threw this (FDA mtg pre AHA) in to provide credibility and hope. I have sensed for years that Don does not like to face shareholdres at AGMs so pay attention to the forward looking statements cautions.

So I'm getting ready for the bolt on option and hopefully less than 3 more years, perhaps 2 to generate the statistical power needed. Do we actually know the statistical issue??? (sample size, etc).

My unequivical hope is that we will see data at the AHA that is so compelling that either the AHA or EUHA or the Chinese HA approves the drug at least on a conditional basis. As pointed out the safety profile so far is good.

Believe it or not I do not read my horoscope. I'm long and buying. The science to date seems too good to miss out.
