Many are wondering how much can be covered in 8 minutes at the BETonMACE late breaking clinical trial presentation at AHA on November 16? This isn't Dr. Kausik Ray's first rodeo. An experienced, well spoken clinician can go over a ton of stuff in 8 minutes at a conference like AHA. This is a presentation to a scientific crowd. No hand holding required. Many many slides can be covered and this is 8 minutes of well scripted and rehearsed delivery. He can easily cover the primary and all cardio related secondary endpoints in 8 minutes. Plus keep in mind that Resverlogix could further expand with a simultaneous news release and/or same day webcast. Also, keep in mind that it is very likely that the full BETonMACE results will be simultaneously published in a major medical journal at the time of the AHA presentation on November 16. A data flood may occur on Nov 16. Get your popcorn ready.
The biggest question I have is when will the CKD and cognitive sub-study results first be announced/presented? It is doubtful that the 8 minutes at AHA affords enough time to adequately address these sub-studies.
Tick tock,
