jermaine j, thank you very much for what I believe to be a reality check and a very well reasoned position. I've been collecting my thoughts and reading all of the posts and there is much hopeful thinking.
I'm going to post tomorrow when I have a clear head. What we do know is that apabetalone failed again and this was a very well designed trial designed by some of the best scientists in the field. We do not know the significance level at which it failed. Perhaps it was 94% or <90% in which case it would be difficult for even one of the pre-specified subgroups to succeed, but it can happen.
I still believe this is a good little science company and the journey will continue. There are reasons why the big boys have been sitting on the sidelines. I do believe the Chinese want the IP.
We can only wait and hope for good news on Nov 16th and that one of the pre-determined sub groups hits it out of the ball park. If not we are back into years of exporatory and confirmatory research or perhaps someone will pay a few bucks for the IP and make things happen. I don't know. I'm not selling my shares. There is no point. I remain hopeful.
While Don and Dr Wong expressed hope there was a clear reason why the VP of IR, Paul Moon presented the comments on forward looking statements. Don and Dr Wong are now covered.
Thanks again JJ for the healthy head adjustment.
