"Is this old news?"

Well, not too old, but BDAZ posted it shortly after it was released this morning.

At the upcoming AHA conference, I'm wondering if we'll see another "pooh-poohing" by a Merck representative like we had after the Assure results were presented back a number of years ago.  At that time, this doctor had said that the liver enzymes that were shown to be elevated were of grave concern to him. 

He of course was raving about the CETP results being presented at that conference (anacetrapid) I was trying to find the name, but can't locate in the archives here.  BDAZ may remember.

In any event, assuming results are as hoped, I'm just wondering if 5-6 years later have changed his mind.  Even Dr Nicholls, who didn't really come to RVX's defense at the time, is still involved in the studies.  Maybe things have changed.  

We also haven't heard from Dr Steven Nissen for quite some time on anything related to RVX.
