"Killernut referenced an abstract, not the announcement. But re-reading the announcement, it does leaves things up in the air. It does not state if it's good or bad. Some I suppose could construe it to be bad and some not so bad."
You're looking for something (an abstract) that doesn't exist. Amarin applied to present their REDUCE-IT trial at AHA 2018. The AHA informed Amarin that their application to present was accepted. This is what Amarin announced in their Sept 12 news release. There was no data or abstract released at this time, only anticipation of top-line by end of September and full results at AHA in Nov. Then came the REDUCE-IT top-line data news release on Sept 24, which was the first glimpse of the data. Then came the full REDUCE-IT results presentation on Nov 10.
