Since thrombosis is one of the biggest risks for immobilized patients, which is the main crew that get decubitus ulcers, that seems like a good fit. Another risk they face is anemia of chronic inflammation, which it seems like this could help with. Not sure whether. there would likely be any benefit for edema or pooling of fluids, pulmonary , or other issues. Seems like it could be worth considering though, maybe. Or not. Not sure. Maybe though.
