"Is it correct to assume that once the data has been analyzed by RVX, and a summary form is ready, they need to get all the principal investigators and scientists all into one room in Calgary (or wherever they want), so that each of them can give their formal approval in person (and presumably personally sign off on the results)? "
Not sure of the exact chain of command and flow of information. However, the BETonMACE clinical steering committee and especially CSC chair Dr. Kausik Ray are surely intimately involved in the data analysis and interpretation after database lock in preparation for top-line data. Although Resverlogix is the sponsor, they are not the only ones at the table for data analysis and interpretation. The CSC and clinical team probably don't just sign off and give formal approval, but are likely key to actually writing up the results to communicate top-line and full data. Top-line reporting shouldn't require too much analysis. It is the full data analysis that will likely require the most grunt work.
