I've been trying to think of an analogy or metaphor to explain how I view Resverlogix's corporate attitude and behaviour.  I thought of Kawhi Leonard and his demeanor....not boastful or bragacious, just a quiet confidence.  But I actually came up with a better one from my own life experience.

20+ years ago, in a different lifetime I used to manage a sales floor for a company that marketed services to both residential and business customers....I managed the biz to biz group during the day, the residential side was managed by Yasmin in the afternoons and evenings.  Yasmin approached me about interviewing a guy named Adam who was part of her team....he was planning to quit because of the hours and compensation....the biz to biz group made more money.

I agreed to meet with Adam and he was on time and well attired for the interview...but after that it was all downhill.  He sat across from me and looked bored stiff, like being interviewed was a waste of his time.  I tried to conduct what is called a 'Behavioural Interview' where a candidate is asked to relate specifict experiences about a variety of situations....I don't remember how he answered, but I know his answers failed to impress.

Later that day Yasmin asked me how it went...I told her to forget it, that I didn't like the guy or  his attitude.  She was adament, exhorting me to trust her....saying he would be a star.  Ultimately based on her recommendation I took him on....and she was right, he was the top guy on the team.  As it turned out he was actually a licensed stock broker, of the boiler room type variety....the OSC was clamping down so he'd left the industry to lay low for a while.

But the point is the guy knew what he was capable of and felt no need whatsover to talk up how great he was....he knew.  And that's the way I feel about Resverlogix now....sure they'll go through the motions, doing what is required....but without much enthusiasm.

Back in 2017 when they skipped out on two investor roadshow dog and pony presentations....when I met Don face to face in May of 2018 he pointedly told me he skipped Rodman Renshaw in NYC because of negotiations to settle the previous LOC, and that those negotiations took precedence over 'some fourth rate investor show'....that might not be a perfect quote, but its very close.

When it comes to impressing the investing public it strikes me that Resverlogix isn't too keen....the same as Adam when he sat across from me all those years ago.  Call it walking quietly and carrying a big stick....or walking with a limp and stumbling even, because of confidence.
