The cognition sub-study in BETonMACE is not an Alzheimer's trial. There was no screening for Alzheimer's. Only for MoCA score below a certain threshhold. The cognition sub-study of BETonMACE will be great proof of principle for a future Alzheimer's trial; however, the BETonMACE cognition sub-study is not an Alzheimer's trial.
