I was aware of the descrepency, but thanks for spelling it out clearly.....I'd spit balled the number at 4 million, close enough to 3.8 million.  Why TMX.com has the number at 5 million...I don't know, but its there.  

I agree with your view that the RVX should be finding some consolidation and should start moving up....the question is when.  Each time we seem to be forming a base it seems to me that someone (or someones) pulls the rug out...over and over again.  That's why I'm curious to see what the updated short number is. 

I've engaged in a fair bit of reshuffling the past few trading sessions....selling shares and buying the $4.60 warrants, I now own a significantly lower number of shares, but  have replaced them with RVX.WT.A warrants  in greater number such that my total holdings of Shares, and both classes of warrants combined is at its highest total ever....plus I have dry powder that I'm holding back in anticipation of a possible drop even lower.
