Message: Data-Lock,...

"Since they announced the 250 MACE on April 18, we are now about 6 weeks out."

Just to clarify, not all 250 were adjudicated on April 18th. The news release stated "Current adjudicated events exceed 90% of the 250." They expect final event tally to be about 260 or more adjudicated.

"Is it the case that the company has not seen ANY DATA YET, and they will only be able to see the data for the first time when Data-Lock is arrived at,...?  (Not counting the numerous patient reports they received during the trial)"

I have zero solid info on this. However, there has been a lot of speculation about what data, if any, Resverlogix and the Clinical Steering Committee may or may not have been privy to. In my opinion, if they have seen anything it is blinded and formatted sufficiently to prevent much, if any, definitive conclusion. Do you have any proof to back up your statement about the"numerous patient reports they received during the trial?"

"Can we assume that Data-Lock will be PR'd,...?"

In my opinion, this cannot be assumed. I do not think that it is not required to PR the database lock and I don't recall seeing these types of database lock news releases from other cardiovascular outcomes trials. From the April 18th news release "Database Lock (DBL) will occur after the last patient’s final visit and the last query is resolved." I previously asked IR "Is last patient visit (end of safety follow up period) considered material information/material development requiring public disclosure?" IR responded "This would not require public disclosure." That is not the same question as whether database lock will be PR'd. Personally, I am assuming that database lock will not be PR'd.
