I almost asked this "prophylaxis" question a while back as so many "potential" benefits have arisen, then realized I might look like a "kook" lol ... general rule of medicine is to leave the body as undisturbed as possible whenever possible, unless the benefit outweighs the risk in situations. And this just also adds to the "miracle drug" paranoia also, in some ways. Plus, the body's inflammatory response is there for a reason, in situations, so is it good to universally suppress a normal bodily life/health function? What are the known/unknown costs potentially?

But what if we are onto something really special with much wider benefit. Time will tell, keeping my mind open, as people put so much BS and trash into their bodies now as it is, to look and feel better, and to even "try" to stay younger. 

Once you cross into a new frontier, who knows what you will find and learn though?! ... all we can do is look at known benefits, and as we add it all up, continue to observe broader and unexpected benefits, and ask MORE questions that can be tested. So many compounds and drugs have been home runs, in areas where they were not originally planned, studied, and tested!
