"I notice that this abstract uses the term "APL" to refer to apabetalone rather than "ABL" as we've seen in the past.  Just wondering if that was a typo or the abbreviation is in actual fact being changed by Resverlogix." 

They've also abbreviated it as "Apa" and "Apabet" in recent posters and/or publications. I don't think there is any one official abbreviation. Also, I don't think "ABL" has been used that often.
