Amazing post GAC ... it's like you are in my head, but with a better way with words haha
Love the birth analogy, used it a few months ago in a post. Felt like I was continually pacing, chain smoking, with a breast pocket full of cigars, just anxious and waiting ... waiting for news .... any news lol. Well we now know RVX is in labor now, just waiting for the light to appear at the end of a longggggg tunnel.
But, .... I am wanting triplets!! :) .... already have the names picked out: Cardio, Renal, Cognitive!
And great question about cashing in or holding, "if" we (and the world) are so fortunate for good news. Yes, the world, also. This is IMPORTANT science, not just an investment opportunity, as we here all know. With 3 plus more potential indications, plus 3000 molecules in a proven ground breaking modality, with a company having a proven ability to get something thru a successful study, ... top line and the ensuing financial benefit may well just be the "openers" ...... with the actual game just beginning.
The investment beauty of all this, is that those in early and sweating bullets for years (and years, in some cases) ..... is that with P3 success, there is likely going to be an initial homerun for the old timers, and even recent newcomers. However, if top line is good, especially across all 3 studied indications, the initial homerun will "likely" be followed by back to back grand slams ..... the importance and impact of the first positive P3 result cannot be over-valued to the hype and path that it will create and ACCELERATE for the other indications ... the door will be WIDE OPEN to the modality and technology, with ALL eyes all over RVX.
.... and let's not forget a physician's ability to go off label if there is significant promise for a drug/device in other critical areas of vital life/health concerns ... with the new cover of "proven safe and effective" ...
I've never seen anything like this ... where the sky (or perhaps the galaxy) truly IS the limit.
Okay, back to my regularly scheduled programming ... data please :)
