"Bear don't do it for my sake but for the many that are clinging to every word you say about RVX at such a tumultuous time."
Since today is the Kentucky Derby, then I will simply state "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him (or her) drink." There are so many publications, posters and presentations available that document all of these anti-inflammatory effects of apabetalone. So much info out there from the past several years that there is no way I can easily summarize it. Analysis of plasma samples of patients from Phase 2 trials by SomaScan and other proteomic assays. Reduced neutrophil to lympocyte ratio in Phase 2 blood samples. Gene expression analysis of primary human hepatocytes and whole blood treated with apabetalone. Various other cell culture models (monocytes, macrohpages, hepatocytes, vascular endothelial cells, brain endothelial cells, microglial cells, etc) treated with apabetalone under different experimental paradigms to explore anti-inflammatory effects by gene expression analysis, protein analysis, or functional analysis. Mouse studies under different pro-inflammatory conditions to document the anti-inflammatory effects. Serious...way too much for me to attempt to summarize.
