Newbies Welcome Wagon....Welcome to Agoracom! A member named Kelsee really got this Resverlogix Agoracom page going and has previously posted these Newbie Welcome Wagon reminders. So I am just continuing this tradition.
We've had a few new faces showing up here of late. Below contains:
1) An introduction to Agoracom
2) Background information and resources on Resverlogix, Apabetalone and BETonMACE.
Introduction to Agoracom
First, there are six Agoracom rules of use to weave your posts around, a guidance if you will. Click that link to read them or they are pasted at the end of this message too. Second, some helpful tips on how to use Agoracom features and navigate the site can be found on the "Quick Tips" and "Ratings and Rankings" pages where you will learn how to rate fellow members, send and receive private messages, how to update your personal profile and updating Link Library once you have achieved a certain level.
If you are looking to join but not post in the hub, you may still take part in the rating of your fellow hub members, but hey, if you’re joining the hub anyway, we'd love to have you be a part of the discussions too… but that’s totally up to you.
We have hub leaders here as we are an “investor controlled hub”, and we would all be very happy to help you out with any questions you may have,,, (hub leaders are listed at bottom right of the home page). Your options are to post your questions directly in the hub or feel free to private message either one of us…
Background information and resources on Resverlogix, Apabetalone and BETonMACE
The link library is a great resource of archived posts, analyst reports, presentations, articles, etc.
The latest corporate update can be found here.
The publications and posters pages on the Resverlogix website have a ton of good stuff. These really cover the multiple facets of apabetalone action on apo-AI/HDL/reverse cholesterol transport, complement, coagulation, vascular inflammation, vascular calcification (including alkaline phosphatase), glucose metabolism, kidney function (i.e. changes in eGFR), and cognition (i.e. changes in MoCA score).
For a more comprehensive list of publications, also see NCBI PubMed list here.
A list of archived and potential future 2019 events can be found here.
For background on the BETonMACE trial for MACE reduction in high-risk low-HDL diabetics with recent ACS event, or the chronic kidney disease or cognition BETonMACEsub-studies? Then see the ClinicalTrials.gov listing as well as the posters from AHA 2018, ACC 2019, AAIC 2018, and ERA-EDTA 2018 on the basline data and study design.
For some great webinars given by some of the experts in the field, see the "Epigenetics in CKD & CVD: A potential breakthrough therapy?" ERA-EDTA 2018 symposium presentation and "LDL-c: Done Deal, Next Epigenetics?" ESC 2018 symposium presentation.
A post of mine from about a year and a half ago summarizes the Evolution of Apabetalone.
Curious about primary, secondary and exploratory analyses in BETonMACE, as well as pre-specified analyses of the primary MACE outcome? Then check out this post.
Interested in how apabetalone may synergize with rosuvastatin as compared to atorvastatin? Then check out this news release and the patent linked in this post.
BETonMACE just announced reaching its target 250 MACE events. But what are the next steps in completing the BETonMACE trial? In addition to the details in the news release, this post provides a possible template for expected order of events. Additionally, this great post by Buckeyes gives some possiblilities as to how these milestones may affect valuation and share price.
Want more info on other BET inhibitors in clinical trials and more info on bromodomain and BET protein selectivity? Then check out the links in this post.
Best regards,

SIX RULES OF USE: https://agoracom.com/rules
Participation on the AGORACOM website, which includes, but is not limited to, blogs, discussion forums, stock hubs, "private messaging" system, and any other electronic medium used for communication with others on AGORACOM, is a privilege and not a right. As such, all the aforementioned communication features are governed by the AGORACOM Six Rules of Use. Though we have used a lighter side in getting our point across, contravention of any of the following, on any of the aforementioned mediums, will lead to automatic termination of your AGORACOM membership:
To ensure your continued participation on AGORACOM, please follow these 6 simple rules.
1. PROFANITY - Swearing or use of foul language is strictly prohibited… in any language (We have 42 interpreters on staff to keep an eye on those International members). For the record, ##$!#&% or any combination thereof is considered profanity.
2. DEROGATORY COMMENTS TOWARDS OTHERS - Calling another member an idiot, clown, stupid, dumb, moron or ##x%x# for brains is strictly prohibited.
3. OFF-TOPIC OR IRRELEVANT COMMENTS - Yep, nobody can believe what Donald Trump said today, or that Monica Lewinsky is more believable than Hillary, or the Dallas Cowboys keep crushing their fans (seriously though, it %*$#@ hurts). However, the main forums are not the place to discuss TV shows, politics or sports... O.K. maybe a little sports. Please use the Off-Topic Forums.
4. SPAMMING OR CLAIMS OF INSIDER INFORMATION - Enough said… unless your brother in-law really is Jeff Bezo’s chauffeur.
5. BASHING OR HYPING - Unsubstantiated claims of grandeur or impending doom are best left to Nostradamus as they will cost you some valuable points towards your rating. Also included in this category is repetition of the same question, fact or opinion over and over after a response has been provided or if there is currently no ascertainable answer.
6. Caps lock and use of !!!!!!! - NOTHING AND WE MEAN NOTHING IS MORE AGGRAVATING AND ANNOYING THAN READING A POST THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS!!!!!! IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY, IT DOESN’T BECOME ANYMORE NOTICEABLE WHEN YOU TYPE IT IN CAPS!!!!! IN FACT, MOST PEOPLE TEND TO IGNORE THESE KINDS OF POSTS!!!!... Exceptions will be made for those deserted on a deserted island (with a kick ass internet connection) and sending out a distress signal, or anyone who invested in WorldCom, Enron, Tyco, Nortel, Webvan, Pets.com or Sideware and needs to freak out every year.
