It's also possible that RVX will be sold prior to the commencement of those additional trials.  Maybe management will determine that they've been in this game long enough and that it's time to cash in and let someone else continue to progress the further development of the drug.  Hard to say how it will all play out.  I do think that it is reasonable to assume that most potential buyers (Big Pharma) are well aware of the trial and are following it closely.  After all, some of RVX's senior management personnel have had some kind of history with the major players so they certainly know each other.  If I were interested in buying an company like RVX, and given the very major potential $$$ involved, I would be running all kinds of scenarios that might ultimately culminate in an offer should results ultimately warrant.  After all, you don't want to let the competition get ahold of something that could generate major revenues for the next decade at your expense.  At what point do one of these companies say they've waited long enough to make a play, irrespective of when trial results are actually disseminated.  I do find it a bit strange that the share price continues to languish in this range but at some point something has to give.
