Hmm. I don't recall what I said or the context of the discussion. There are many applications for AAV-mediated gene therapy.... especially for rare genetic diseases or conditions that only require the expression or knockdown of a single gene. However, as with all therapeutics it does have its limitations and concerns. Yes, AAV therapies have a big future. But AAV therapies aren't amenable or appropriate for all diseases.
