Yes, I agree this baseline BETonMACE eGFR value listed in the AHA poster does seem odd. I was trying to do some handwaving and suggest that the issue might be median vs. mean. But after seeing Pomp's post of the actual percentile breakdown in ELIXA and EXAMINE, that median vs. mean issue doesn't seem to be a viable explanation. As George suggested, perhaps the listed value is a mistake, or as Bfw suggested perhaps this value is correct but it corresponds to a different parameter like serum creatinine and not eGFR.
