In case you missed it, our PPS "plunged" today....you can't make this stuff up

Was just doing a twitter search for Resverlogix and came across an "interesting" little seemingly click bait type article. Some website called mmahotstuff, with MMA standing for "Money Making Articles" had this interesting little headline.
Resverlogix Corp. (RVX) Plunges -0.93% on Jan 25th
Now, who's going to see it? Probably nobody...except maybe people who either already own shares (like those of us here) or people investigating Resverlogix.
The article says very little, but then I don't think journalism or reporting is the goal. Why even care what some obscure little website says anyway....right? I probably wouldn't even bother, but with no news in over a month and a spider web of questions and possible outcomes....its a nice little diversion right now. A little tonic for my OCD tendancies.
I'm one who doesn't really believe in accidents and coincidence, not in the public markets. What jumps out at me here is the word "Plunges". When I hear about a stock that plunges....
Less than 1 single percent doesn't even come close to qualifying. Why use such a loaded and prejorative term for such a small drop?
Maybe its just an accident, or a slip. Oh right...I don't believe in those, not in the public markets.
Going back to Granville's teachings, (thanks Dad) I know that stocks don't trade based on any fundamental metrics, they trade on sentiment....if there is more bullish money buying than bearish money selling then a stock climbs, or the reverse. Sentiment of course can be influenced by fundamentals, but ultimately its all about investor sentiment....especially with a highly speculative issue like RVX with no earnings and a long way to go before a drug like Apabetalone might be commercialized.
Quite frankly I don't think this obscure little article is an accident...I geuinely believe there's a method at work here, a subtle little effort at trying to impact investor sentiment, in a bearish manner.
It has the opposite effect on me however....something like this, especially by an outfit that uses a NYC address for contact info, it suggests to me that possibility that there is an effort afoot to try and encourage some selling....but why do that unless there are others looking to do some buying.
Night all....
