RM2 - The massive repercussions I'm referring to are in a good way. fourem's comments at 3:08 today pretty much covers it.
If my understanding is correct the diabetes rate in China is just over 10% and is the fastest growing diabetes rate in the world. That would be about 140 million people that may eventually have issues that we may be able to help with. 10's of millions with CKD, that's also an area that we may be able to help with. Many citizens now having health insurance or paying out of pocket for medicines that are different than "their" standard of care. That's all potentially great news for us. China may end up being the first area of the world that will produce revenue for us...or whoever owns apabetalone at that time.
Li Li may well have been able to see the future when he got involved with RVX through Hepalink. Good for him. I hope he makes many more billions.
The news surrounding us now just keeps getting better.
All IMO, dyodd
