I have read articles about the CRA "cracking down" on TFSA accounts with high returns. However, I also recall the very strong backlash from many fronts including accountants challenging the fact that if people are successful in a TFSA they already paid their taxes on the money they invested.

Anyway, like most things I'm not an expert in this so please DYODD.

My biggest fear re the TFSA is the Liberals cutting it back. In a Canada that has been gutted in terms of pensions this is the best gift Harper has ever given young Canadians.
