Since there is some significance to an SSRA/FA report there is another option that should be considered. If it becomes obvious to the CSC that the events and adjudication process will take the same or longer than potentially getting the Top Line Results then maybe they make a decision to do an FA at 125 events just so there is some news flow available to put out. If apabetalone is working in this trial as well as it did on those few patients that met this specific criteria in the ASSURE trial then it is at least possible that this BETonMACE trial could be over (250 3 point MACE events achieved) before the 188  adjudicated events for this SSRA are available to release. That may mean that we have a 58% or greater RRR. That thought could be considered wishful thinking or just plain speculation which I know this board is tough on. DM may have to use a little influence with the CSC in order to find a balance between the scientists need to focus on the science and shareholders need to be fed news from time to time.
