Message: The journey to the finish line

narmac asked in his last post - how will we get there?

My best guess is science and press. First step would be the SSRA saying "continue on the way you are with no changes". Second would be to have every media outlet in the would know what that may actually mean. A positive SSRA should take the price up somewhat, pick a number, yours is as good as mine. My understanding is that a positive SSRA/FA at 75% of the way through a Phase III trial dramatically reduces the risk of failing the trial. I would like to hear the opinion of others on that understanding. Other companies are now helping us out by talking about their epigenetic programs like Celgene and Merck this past week. Promoting the fact that we are the only company in a Phase III trial with an epigenetic drug that has a positive SSRA would likely help us. Q4 is not that far away now which means the Top Line Results are not that far away either. In the 5 to 7 months between now and the TLR there is ample opportunity for the IR dept to tell the world about our program. At the point of TLR, if that is positive we could potentially have an amazing move upward starting from a base that is a few times higher than what the share price is today.

IMO a CVR could happen any time after a positive SSRA but likely after a positive TLR. The potential sales of apabetalone are staggering as Beacon pointed out that just 2% market penetration would be worth 1.7 billion. What is it worth to a company that thinks they could get 10, 20, 40% market penetration?

The journey over the next few months will be filled with excitement and maybe disappointed as well. There will be many opportunities for ALL types of investors to play all kinds of games. There are no details that skillful negotiators can't work out to make a deal happen.

If any of the above comes to fruition be prepared to be be on an emotional roller coaster that will push you and pull you in directions you never new was possible. I've been there a few times over the years, it's quite an experience.

All IMO
