Is Apabetalone maybe a bad thing for the Pharma industry?

Most of us probably have a friend, (or friends) who believe the Pharmaceutical industry knows how to cure diseases like cancer, but they don't because there's more money to be made treating that deadly disease than there is from curing it.
Lending credence to that incredibly cynical view is a CNBC new story about a Goldman Sachs analyst who, among other things, cited howGilead's 90% cure rate with Hepatitis C had diminished the pool of treatable patients, and that those individuals who'd been cured...they could no longer transmit the disease to others....the loss of potential customers. Oh the horror
Here's the link to the article:
What does this have to do with Apabetalone? I think it will be pretty clear. We've all been wondering and speculating as to RVX's incredibly low valuation given the mind blowing potential of 208. Going to the BB conference on Wednesday I was scrolling through some of the other presenting companies, and came across Acquinox Pharma, another clinical stage company...same old same old, they lost $50 million in 2017.
But their share price is around the $12 mark, they had over $100 in the bank at the end of last year. This Canadian biotech trades on the Nasdaq with a MC of around $280 million USD, that's over $100 million USD more than our Market Cap.
Why does the market value this company so much higher? Could it be because their drug candidates seek to treat, rather than cure diseases?
Yes...I know what some are going to say, 'Apabetalone is also a treatment, its not a cure either'.
Is that true? Go back to the Beacon Report by Dr. Kideckle and read over the part about the complement system again, how there's an almost cascading effect that flows from our arteries being clogged with calcification and other stuff.
Thrombosis? A family friend, my mother's best friend.....she suffers from thrombosis, and her medication costs hundreds of dollars a month. How many other diseases are a result of clogged up arteries. We've heard that Alzheimer's may have an arterial componet, and I've read the same thing about Bi-Polar disorder.
Could it be that Apabetalone, as Dr. Kideckle notes in his report, could it be a compound that helps to alleviate. and possibly even irradicate, a whole host of conditions that currently are being treated by a variety of costly drugs supplied by big pharma?
Its a thought worth considering....read the CNBC article, Pharmceuticals is a business at the end of the day....Yes, perhaps Apabetalone could be a monster drug....but how many other billion dollar drugs might it impact?
