One theory is that the longer it takes the better apabetalone is working, let's hope there is some truth to that. Since more than 2400 patients have now been recruited, right now would or should be the highest point in the trial for events occurring. This should be as a result of have the maximum number of patients enrolled before those that were first enrolled max out on their time in the trial.

If as a result of maximum patient years racking up now and having the highest event rate in the trial now in theory, along with the SSA out ... soon, then it could be any time in Q3 that Top Line results appear. Q3 goes from Oct toooo Dec. Let's hope for early Q3. A number of people on this board believe that the SSA will have a direct impact on whatever financing or LOI is implemented in the short term of which I am defiantly in that camp.

If this company is ever going to run for the fence there is a reasonable chance that it could happen well before Christmas, at least through my rose coloured glasses. There are still a number of big hurdles to clear between now and then. Let hope we get over all of them without squishing the boys.
