Stock for Geron Crop (GERN) had been trading in and around $2 for the past 2+ years...it started 2018 under $2 a share, and Thursday traded as high as $6.50.....

Its a biotech and I think it goes to prove how fast things can change....it seems the rapid climb was caused by their lead drug candidate imetelstat, which is said to have megablockbuster "potential".  Geron is developing imetelstat in tandem with Johnson and Johnson.  There's speculation that J&J might buy the drug outright.

Obviously Hepalink is nowhere near J&J....but here's hoping we can at least capture some of that speculative fire.  If nothing else it might herald a reboud for the biotech sector as a whole and give us a lift.
