Using Tada’s numbers for high dose Crestor and plaque regression, which I believe are accurate but I can’t recall the trial name. High dose Crestor regressed plaque by .4% over 24 months or .1% every 6 months (straight lined). Crestor plus Apabetalone regressed plaque by 1.43% over 6 months in ASSURE, therefore roughly 14x the effect of high dose Crestor alone over 6 months. To me even if you just take the raw plaque regression numbers of 1.43% vs .4%, irrespective of time, the combination of Crestor plus Apabetalone is still much superior to high dose Crestor alone.
