So Don does not really have much time (a few months maximum...meaning he better be close now to closing a deal) to get the next round of financing in place. One thing for sure, he does not seem phased. I sense the current uncertainty around this phase of financing is the barrier now at the $2 level. Once the financing is in place the science can move forward with BoM and other trials concurrent with the 5 independent research projects Don eluded to.

This financing could take many forms.

  • Going to the open market with 50 million shares might get  RVX the $60M to $100M it needs assuming significant dilution. Also, without a NASDAQ this strategy lacks breadth and provides no credibility in the USA.
  • A new regional deal (and perhaps a bidding war on Hepa's FROR for the USA market) could provide an effective counterbalance to Hepa's 43% ownership.
  • A BP pharma partner would be a very interesting deal as an inexpensive way into RVX possibly with their own FRORs.
  • An existing capital company like Eastern would balance the situation in terms of share ownership. Of course Eastern has their pharma division and the shut down the California division that came uo with nothing after years of R & D. Did this turn KD away? RVX has shown continuous scientific progress.
  • Or, BP in the form of a CVR or whatever? No evidence yet of any solid interest.

No matter what channel the financing takes removing this barrier could result in some investment interest possibly allowing the stock to move up toward the Beacon target level. That is just my opinion and not investment advice (I know nothing about investment. I'm here because I do believe this truly is breakthrough science).

Anyway, now that there "is no need for an FA" (this remains a puzzle to me) then this financing is the key barrier IMHO.
