I keep thinking that Apabetalone could be as wide reaching as anti-inflamatories like Ibuprofen.....i don't mean that Apabetalone would treat the same things as Advil does, just that the number of potential conditions/diseases that it could target is so big.
I've even read that Bi-Polar disorder has an arterial component to it.....we could be just on the cusp of something mind blowingly huge.
I realize there's that old adage....if things sound too good to be true, they usually are, so I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. Let's get a thumbs up on the BETonMACE futility and then we'll see about CKD and Fabrys and then if those go well, we can go from there.
Just a thought on the upcoming CKD and Fabry's trial. It seems to me it might be prudent to get the FA for BETonMACE out of the way before breaking ground on those trials. A nightmare scenario imo would involve having the three trials running and then for the FA to come out negative. Irrespective of how optimistic we all are about it being positive, caution is probably the best course.
