If they were interested in cost control I don't think they'd be signing up to present at conferences that they have a low opinion of to start with....and then forefitting whatever deposits they had to pay.  Stop attending these dog and pony shows altogether, that would make more sense....even when they do show up there's airfare, hotels, meals and other sundry expenses.  

And I don't want them to pump/promote the stock, I'm glad they're not.  I simply get my shorts in a knot when they do communicate with the market and its in a manner that makes their corporate communications looks like its being handled by an office temp with a bad attitude.
